About us

Xelion was founded in the Netherlands by Micha Cohen in 1988. The Xelion cloud-based telephony solution was developed in 2012 to optimise the efficiency and performance of business communication. In 2016 Xelion entered the UK market and Dave Reynolds joined as UK Managing Director.

Our approach pays off

Xelion’s innovative approach has been a huge success, confirmed in a series of independent Awards. Xelion UK won the prestigious ‘Ones to Watch’ award at the 2018 Comms Business Awards. Further confirmation of the company’s success came with the award for ‘Best Hosted Voice Platform’ category in the 2019 Comms Business Awards.

In 2019 the Xelion platform also won the Dutch IT Channel Magazine Award for ‘Business Connectivity/Cloud Voice Innovator’.

One of the biggest challenges for customers migrating to hosted telephony is the need to integrate back-office functions with the hosted telephony platform for a comprehensive UC solution. That’s why Xelion has an open architecture allowing third-party apps to be integrated seamlessly with the Xelion platform.

And unlike rival hosted telephony platforms, with Xelion there are no hidden extras or chargeable bolt-ons with all features, including call-recording as standard.

A major focus for the Xelion development team is the continued integration of Xelion with third-party applications such as Microsoft 365, Power BI, popular CRM packages such as Zoho, Hubspot and many other applications. The vision is that Xelion should be the central hub in the corporate communications of the companies that use it, so it’s more than just a cloud telephony service. This unique approach, allows our partners to offer customers hosted voice with integration, providing real-world UC solutions for their customers.

Xelion does not sell direct, as a Xelion partner you will never compete with us. Xelion is totally focused on the comms channel with a partner only policy. We put the channel partner back in control, allowing them to build their own comprehensive comms proposition with the flexibility to set their own path and destiny, something no other hosted UC vendor is trying to achieve with the channel.

Our focus is on taking partners from being reliant and tied to a single product supplier, to having the skills to control and manage Xelion as a service provider themselves.
