Managed Services
The Managed Services department ensures that the infrastructure on which the Xelion application runs is always available and up to date. An important task! In this department, we also consider initiatives to make our service even more reliable and secure.
Our activities
In our department we handle administrator work, incident resolution and devising and implementing new initiatives. Administration mainly consists of monitoring our managed servers, modifying recourses but also providing the latest updates on the machines. The team also ensures that all other services used by Xelion are maintained.
When resolving incidents you can imagine picking up reports from the monitoring, but also incidents reported from our support department or our partners. Xelion strives for continuous improvement, so our team also looks for opportunities to improve the product. Detecting redundancy possibilities, coming up with initiatives in response to disruptions or other ideas for optimizing the service are important tasks of Managed Services.
'Developing a product is one thing, but managing it and keeping it running optimally is at least as relevant! Telephony and therefore Xelion continues 24x7 and so does our server park where we are constantly looking for ways to do better than yesterday!'
