Xelion distinguishes itself not only by functionality and ease of use, but we also excel when it comes to security and privacy. We do everything we can to ensure the confidentiality of your communications. If something goes wrong, we often solve it before a user is affected. We also prevent hackers from abusing your data through strict security. Our apps are well secured so data cannot be intercepted. And of course, user data is stored securely and in compliance with GDPR regulations.
Here's how we protect your data
Conversation recordings
'This conversation can be recorded for training purposes'. An incredibly useful feature! Not only for training, but also, for example, to record a conversation in the car and work out the details later at your desk or for a conversation on the support service at night; instead of a written transfer you can use the recording. The recordings can be protected from unauthorized users and the retention period is adjustable.
Backups
Backups are a standard part of the managed service. Backups are made in different ways and at different times: both of the entire server and of the individual phone systems. Xelion also has a unique Cross Border Backup method in which essential configuration data can be stored in another data center. We do everything we can to make sure your data is protected.
Data Centers
Xelion can be hosted in different data centers. Due to compliance, it is necessary to process your data domestically. With Xelion, this is no problem at all! We can also make direct interconnections from one data center to another. It is even possible to purchase a private cloud in one of the available data centers.
Data retention
In Xelion, smart connections are made between callers and agents, for example. If the caller has spoken to an agent before, these connections allow the caller to automatically end up back with that same agent. This is convenient for both the caller and the agent.
Data processing
Xelion never shares data with third parties for analysis or product improvement. Your data remains safe with Xelion. We have made clear agreements with the third parties that are used for sending text messages, for example, or for generating speech-to-text messages, on how the data to be processed should be handled. You can trust us to handle all data processed by Xelion with the utmost care.
ISO 27001:2023
Everyone at Xelion understands the need for maximum protection of companies' confidential data. We are extremely aware of all potential risks and take measures in advance to minimize foreseeable risks. We regularly conduct PEN tests and work with a BUG Bounty program to detect and remediate vulnerabilities. An important part of ISO 27001 is the testing of Disaster Recovery Scenarios.
Privacy-by-default
By default, Xelion is quite “closed". This means that the administrator must specifically indicate who has rights to what. This also applies to many features. For example, we have a super convenient feature where you can see which colleagues have all been in contact with a person or organization. Or a conversations view where you can see who is having a conversation with whom. This is all switched off by default and must be enabled.
Security-by-default
At Xelion, you can trust that security is the standard. When developing new features, information security is a priority. We always carefully consider the risks. If there is a potential risk, we address it. New features are always tested by both internal and external testers.
Roles and rights
The administrator can give very specific permissions to individual users for access to queues, settings, communications, call recording, etc. Even a supervisor needs specific rights to listen in on an agent's calls. With the special tool Xelion Park Manager you control all rights and roles.
