Building strong connections with Xelion

Dirkzwager group started in 1937 as a painting company in Amsterdam and grew into a multidisciplinary property maintenance company. Since moving to Almere in 2001, the family business has offered services such as planned maintenance, building maintenance and concrete renovation. This growth created the need for an efficient and flexible communication solution. The move to cloud communication via Xelion, in cooperation with Rydo Telecom, proved to be the perfect match.

We spoke to Diana Hartog, former front-office manager and now senior project assistant, for this interview. A safe working environment and innovative solutions are central to Dirkzwager Group. From a challenge to a solution

The choice of Xelion stemmed from confidence in Rydo Telecom. Diana Hartog, senior project assistant at Dirkzwager Group, says, "Our previous supplier did not meet our expectations. Through our management, we came in contact with John Kool. His direct approach and cooperation with Xelion gave us the confidence to switch." Thanks to the experience and support, the implementation went smoothly.

 

Collaboration and complete support

Rydo Telecom, a dedicated Xelion partner, provided a flawless onboarding. John, a certified engineer, obtained his Xelion certification in early 2024 and personally guided Dirkzwager Group throughout the process. "Communication with John is always fast and pleasant. Requests are addressed immediately, which is something we missed with our previous supplier," said Diana. The short lines of communication and proactive dealings with John made all the difference. Working with Xelion has been a success. "We keep the lines of communication short and respond quickly to their needs. Xelion offers exactly the flexibility that Dirkzwager Group needs." Adds John.

Dirkzwager Group uses various Xelion functionalities: fixed phones, the mobile app, and the softphone on the PC. This offers employees the freedom to communicate in the way that best suits their work style. "I personally only use the mobile app. It works easily and efficiently," Diana shares. The variety of communication tools plays a crucial role because it allows employees to communicate flexibly, anytime, anywhere. This not only promotes productivity but also increases accessibility and customer focus.                                 

 

The future: optimization and growth

With the upcoming switch to AFAS, Dirkzwager Group expects to get even more out of the integration with Xelion. Diana: “We want company-wide functionalities, such as easily setting up a central voicemail for events.” The cooperation between Dirkzwager Groep, Rydo Telecom, and Xelion shows how important reliable partners and user-friendly technology are.
