Who is Mensonides Installation?
“In 1978 my father took over a small company in Harlingen, more than 46 years ago, an old plumber business and that has now become Mensonides Installation," says Jelmer. Mensonides is a versatile installation company that performs a variety of work. “In the private market, we mainly focus on replacing installations,” says Jelmer. “For example, we replace central heating boilers, ventilation boxes, install heat pumps, charging stations and solar panels.”
We also offer service and maintenance for the installations that have been installed.
Besides working for private individuals, they also have a business department. In this department Mensonides works on larger installation projects, such as the construction of new homes, business premises and sheds. Mensonides operates throughout the northern part of the Netherlands.
Easy and clear
Mensonides used landline telephony before Xelion; they had integrated this with mobile telephony. 'We used this system for a long time. The reason we ended up looking at another package was because it was difficult to see who had called out. Since we work with several people here, we wanted a solution where more colleagues on the shop floor could also call the landline number. For example, we have colleagues who are responsible for sales and they often call with the landline number, so that customers immediately recognize who is calling them,” says Jelmer. 'Xelion makes it easier to keep track of who called which customer. 'In addition, we use the address book a lot and I was looking for a communication tool that would offer this functionality.' Adds Jelmer. Trends ICT advised him Xelion and guaranteed that they would have this feature and could offer more overview with it. 'We can now easily see who called, quickly retrieve these calls and contact the person in question directly. Previously, we often had to ask in the office, “Who called?” which caused many disturbances.'
Xelion also offers much more insight. 'For us, it was also about monitoring things like the number of calls coming in, how many calls were recorded and call duration. We wanted more control over all this data.
The choice of Xelion
'I came into contact with Ronald de Jong of Trends ICT about two or three years ago. 'I had indicated to several parties that I was looking for a phone package with specific functionalities and wanted to know what those packages had to offer.' Says Jelmer. After some more research, Xelion turned out to be the best option and so Jelmer finally decided to implement Xelion.
How do you like using Xelion?
'I like the system, you can call easily with it, see the history well. We linked Xelion to Red Cactus Bubble, from that point you can easily link to the software package behind it. Says Jelmer. 'With the Xelion app, you can quickly see if it's an existing customer, with all the customer data immediately available. This works very conveniently. You can also easily see when a customer last contacted us.
'If I had to describe Xelion in three words, I would say it is reliable, simple and effective.'

What do you expect from Xelion in the future?
Jelmer is very satisfied with the Xelion app ', I am very satisfied in terms of the way things are going now but I expect that Xelion will of course just continue to develop with what will be added in the future.'
