Transitioning to modern cloud solution

Through Trends ICT, where VacantieVreugd was already a customer for their mobile telephony, they ended up with Xelion. “We were looking for a solution that was more up-to-date,” says Daphne. “Our old server was outdated and no longer met the requirements. That's when we started looking at Xelion and we've been a customer for three years now, although it feels like much longer to us. The move to cloud communications was really an improvement for us.”
The switch to Xelion immediately improved communication within VacantieVreugd. The user-friendly Xelion app allows employees to call each other quickly and efficiently, without having to navigate through choice menus or long wait times. “With Xelion, we can communicate directly with each other on any device,” says Daphne. “For us, that's a huge time saver. We don't have to navigate long dial menus or call through landlines. So you can contact colleagues through the Xelion app with one click.”
Use of Xelion features
One of the things that VacantieVreugd really appreciates is the ability to control the voicemail and tape settings themselves. This gives them the flexibility to respond quickly to changes and to set up the system to their liking.
“We can set the texts for the voicemails and choice menus ourselves” says Daphne. “This gives us a lot of control and we can make changes quickly without depending on external parties.”
In addition, one of Xelion's newer features is Text-to-Speech functionality. This is a useful addition for VacantieVreugd. “With the new Text-to-Speech feature, we can easily enter texts and have them played automatically,” says Daphne. “It's good to know that there are now new possibilities to control this kind of thing ourselves if we want to.”

The updated Xelion software has a fresh look, and the improved interface makes it even easier for VacantieVreugd to manage their telephony settings. “The new look of the app is really an improvement,” says Daphne. “It's become much more user-friendly. The way we can set up voicemails and menus is much easier and clearer. It just works much more efficiently than before.” The user-friendly navigation ensures that everything runs smoothly without wasting a lot of time.

Daphne hopes that Xelion continues to evolve in the future, but stresses that it is especially important that the system remains simple and user-friendly for their team. “We obviously hope that Xelion continues to innovate,” says Daphne. “New features, such as Text-to-Speech, are already a step in the right direction, but above all we want the simplicity and user-friendliness to remain. It must remain easy for everyone to work with it.”
